About the Author
Ange Booth is a writer, photographer and Gen X nostalgist with roots in the UK, the Netherlands and Australia. Her memoir Every Track is a Scar: A Mixtape Memoir of Goth, Grunge and Growing Up weaves the soundtrack of her life into a powerful exploration of identity, family estrangement and emotional survival, through music.
Booth is the creator of The Catch Up, a warm, sharp-edged comedy-drama about four suburban women navigating midlife chaos and connection. The pilot episode and series bible are complete and available for industry consideration.
Her earlier works include Dot Com Together (2003), a candid account of internet dating before it was swipeable, and Eat Play Love (2012), a project backed by the Maternal and Child Health Service to increase occasional childcare engagement for families with very young children.
In addition to writing, she continues to enjoy photography and art. Her work has been included in group exhibitions across Melbourne, including the Centre for Contemporary Photography.
Booth has two cats, two dogs, two kids and one husband.
